Overview
Managers and Administrators can edit individual agreement names in LinkSquares Analyze. This provides accuracy and how you want to have your naming convention reflected.
Process
If you have Smart Renaming enabled within your Analyze instance, editing agreements will look a little different as there are more options to choose from.
To edit an agreement, start at the main Agreements page.
Click the ellipsis icon next to the desired agreement and select Edit from the drop-down.
A modal will appear.
Enabling Custom Name
When Smart Renaming is enabled, your agreements will follow the AI-powered naming convention configured.
However, if there is a particular agreement in which you do not want the naming convention enabled and wish to enter a customized name instead, you can do so by selecting the Custom Name option.
To enable custom naming, select the radio button next to the Custom Name field.
If your agreement already has a Custom Name, you can simply change the text in the "Custom Name" field.
After entering the new name, click SAVE. The custom name will be saved for that agreement.
Note: When selecting a custom name, the AI-powered Smart Values such as type, effective date, and parties will not be reflected in the name as they are with the Smart Name.
Editing Type
You have the option to edit the agreement type.
If the agreement type is a part of your Smart Name convention, then any changes to the agreement type will be reflected in the Smart Name.
Keep in mind that if you have Smart Types enabled, editing the agreement type will result in you losing the Smart Type.
Editing Tags
You have the option to add and delete tags.

Editing Linked Agreements
You have the option to link parent and child agreements.
Note: Only three total levels of hierarchy are allowed, so linking a fourth level (great-grandchild) will return an error.
