Overview
Managers and Administrators can link agreements to one another in a parent-child hierarchy within LinkSquares Analyze. By linking relative agreements together, it will provide organization and quick searches for agreements needed.

Note: Only three total levels of hierarchy are allowed, so linking a fourth level (great-grandchild) will return an error.

Process
A parent-child hierarchy consists of related agreements in a linked hierarchy.
Parent-child hierarchy iconswill be present next to agreements that have linked agreements within the main Agreements page.
Parent-child hierarchies can be created between agreements within both the Pending and Processed tabs.
Clicking the parent-child hierarchy icon will open to reveal the hierarchy of the selected agreement.
The bolded agreement is the current agreement within the hierarchy.
Click the arrows next to the folder icons to expand or collapse the hierarchy.
Leverage the Agreement Order drop-down to sort the agreement order. Sort alphabetically, by effective date, and by upload date in ascending or descending order.
Users can also reference the applicable parent-child hierarchy within the Links tab of the individual agreement view.
Note: Select an agreement from the main Agreements page to reach the individual agreement view.
Creating Parent-Child Hierarchies
Click the ellipsis icon next to the agreement that will be the parent agreement.
Select Edit from the drop-down.
A modal will appear. From here, you can edit the agreement name, type, and tags, along with linking the parent and child agreement.
Note: If an agreement is already linked, to remove it, click the trash icon.
To create a parent-child hierarchy, link a child agreement to the selected parent agreement by selecting the Link Child Agreement drop-down.
Search through your agreements and select a child agreement.
There is no limit to the number of children or grandchildren agreements a parent agreement can have.
Click SAVE once complete.
Note: If the parent agreement is deleted, the hierarchy will be removed from related agreements.
Parent-Child Hierarchy Visibility
Depending on how custom roles are configured, custom roles may be unable to view full parent-child hierarchies given their tag-based or type-based restrictions.
If a parent agreement is restricted, the restricted parent agreement will be inaccessible within the parent-child hierarchy from both the main Agreements page and the individual agreement view.
If a child agreement is restricted, the restricted child agreement will be inaccessible within the parent-child hierarchy from both the main Agreements page and the individual agreement view.
