Overview
Comparing two versions of an agreement to find what the other party has added, removed, or updated is time-consuming and error-prone.
Document Comparison in the LinkSquares Finalize add-in for Microsoft Word automates this process and gives you the confidence you need to efficiently complete the redline process without ever leaving Microsoft Word.

Process
To use Document Comparison in the Word add-in, start by opening an agreement.
To do this, click Open next to the agreement version you would like to be the original document for Document Comparison.
Note: Only DOCX files are compatible with Document Comparison.
Navigate to the History tab of the agreement.
Click the kebab menu next to the agreement version that you would like to compare against the original document.
Note: The agreement version currently opened will be designated with a colorful bubble with the current user's initials.
Then, click Compare.
The document versions will be compared.
A new document that highlights the differences between both documents will open.
Select the highlights from the document’s sidebar to see where specific changes occurred.
