Overview
There are two types of agreement tags within LinkSquares Analyze: Smart Tags and custom tags.
Tags are displayed in the order in which they are applied by both the system and the end user. From left to right, the oldest to the newest tags appear within the Tags column of the main Agreements page. Tags enable Analyze users to create granular agreement categories.
Tags are similar to classic folder and subfolder structures, but provide immediate visibility into the qualities of the agreement. There are two types of agreement tags: Smart Tags and custom tags. Smart Tags are automatically added to agreements by LinkSquares AI as soon as they hit the repository. Custom tags are the tags created by Administrators and Manager-level roles.
Tags keep you organized and the data visible for easy access and viewing.
Process
Smart Tags
Smart Tags are automatically added to agreements through LinkSquares AI as soon as they hit the repository.
Smart Tags are lime green. They consist of the parties involved and the effective year.
Note: If party Smart Tags are turned off, all party Smart Tags will be removed from your organization's Analyze instance.
Custom Tags
Add additional tags for your agreements via custom tags. Custom tags are user-created by Managers and Administrators to further customize and organize agreements.
Custom tags are unlimited, free of charge, and can be changed over time. Common use cases are adding an industry tag (e.g., hospitality) or department tag (e.g., sales).
Custom tags can vary in color depending on your Analyze Administrator team's configuration.
- Aqua
- Blue
- Brown
- Dark blue
- Dark gray
- Evergreen
- Green
- Light gray
- Medium gray
- Orange
- Pink
- Purple
- Red
- Sky blue

Custom tags are used to group agreements by something that cannot be found within the text of the agreement, and therefore cannot be derived by LinkSquares AI. Filter, sort, and run reports based on both Smart Tags and custom tags.
