Overview
Managers and Administrators who have Smart Types enabled can map Smart Types to custom agreement types within LinkSquares Analyze. This is a helpful feature for users juggling variations in how they refer to their agreements. This can be due to differentiating industry naming conventions.
By mapping Smart Types to custom types, you can present information in a way that makes sense to your entire user base. For example, you can create a custom type labeled "CDA" and map it to your NDA agreements.
Process
To map the agreement types within Analyze, complete the following steps.
1. To begin, go to Settings from the app selector.
2. Select Analyze App.
3. Go to the Types tab.
4. From here, map Smart Types to custom types by selecting the Map to drop-downs.
To create a new custom type, click CREATE NEW TYPE in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Custom types will appear with a blue pencil icon instead of a green lightbulb.
Smart Renaming will reflect these changes.
