Overview
LinkSquares supports Single Sign-On logins with a SAML 2.0 connection. To complete the enablement of a company's Single Sign-On login, you must have a LinkSquares Administrator or IT Admin license to enable on the LinkSquares side.
The three different forms of logging into LinkSquares:
- Email/password and Google
- Google-only SSO
- SAML SSO through providers like Okta, JumpCloud, and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly known as Azure Active Directory)

Note: If the LOGIN option is not available under Analyze/Settings, it may be due to your existing login method. If receiving the pop-up message of:
'Changing login methods is currently restricted.'

Process
The goal of the SAML SSO setup for LinkSquares is to enable user access to the platform using a single sign-on account.
The setup process for SAML SSO with LinkSquares requires configuration within both your IdP and LinkSquares.
The process below outlines the following:

SAML SSO Configuration
Configure your Identity Provider (IdP)
- Create a new SAML 2.0 Application
- Enter the following information:

Single sign-on URL
https://[your_subdomain].linksquares.com/saml/auth -
Audience URI (SP Entity ID)
https://[your_subdomain].linksquares.com/saml/metadata

Single sign-on URL
Finish the application setup.
Retrieve setup information from your IdP
The following information is needed to finish the setup within LinkSquares:
- Identity Provider SSO URL
- Identity Provider SSO Entity ID
- Identity Provider Certificate
LinkSquares Configuration
The final step of enabling LinkSquares SSO is configuring LinkSquares to access your IdP.
To complete the configuration, Administrators and IT Administrators must be logged into LinkSquares.
- To begin, go to Settings from the app selector.
- Select Analyze App.
- Go to the Login tab.
- Select the SAML radio button within the Login Methods section.
- Enter the Identity Provider SSO URL
- Enter the Identity Provider SSO Entity ID
- Enter the Identity Provider Certificate LinkSquares field.
Note:
Ensure that you include “---BEGIN CERTIFICATE---” and “---END CERTIFICATE---” when pasting the certificate information.
SAML SSO will be enabled after clicking SAVE LOGIN METHOD within the Login Methods section.
To log in successfully, users need to be provisioned within the IdP and given enabled access within LinkSquares.
Your SSO login URL can be found within the Login tab for reference anytime.
