Overview
This article provides step-by-step instructions for setting up Okta Single Sign-on (SSO) with LinkSquares.

Process
The goal of the Okta implementation for LinkSquares is to enable the user to use a single sign-on account to access the platform.
The setup process for Okta SSO with LinkSquares requires configuration within both Okta and LinkSquares.
The following process outlines the following:
Note: You must be an administrator of your SAML platform and LinkSquares Administrator/IT Administrator to complete these steps.
Okta Configuration
The first step of enabling LinkSquares SSO with Okta is to configure Okta to access LinkSquares.
Select Applications > Applications from the menu on the Okta homepage.
Click Create App Integration.
Select the SAML 2.0 radio button within the Sign-in method section.
Click Next.
Then, set the application name within the App name field. LinkSquares recommends “LinkSquares.”
Click Next.
Enter the following information.
Note: Please enter your subdomain within the URLs. An organization’s unique subdomain can be found in the URL of the LinkSquares web app: [your_subdomain].linksquares.com.
Single sign-on URL
https://[your_subdomain].linksquares.com/saml/auth
Audience URI (SP Entity ID)
https://[your_subdomain].linksquares.com/saml/metadata
Click Next at the bottom of the page.
On the Feedback step, click Finish to create the application.
You will be redirected to the application page for the LinkSquares app within Okta.
Click View SAML setup Instructions within the SAML Setup section on the right-hand side of the screen.
Within the How to Configure SAML 2.0 for LinkSquares Application page, each field must be copied and entered into LinkSquares. Keep this information easily accessible as you execute the LinkSquares Configuration section of this article.
These fields will appear as follows within LinkSquares:
Identity Provider Single Sign On URL → Identity Provider SSO URL
Identity Provider Issuer → Identity Provider SSO Entity ID
X.509 Certificate → Identity Provider Certificate
LinkSquares Configuration
The second and final step of enabling LinkSquares SSO with Okta is to configure LinkSquares to access Okta.
To complete the configuration, Administrators and IT Administrators must navigate to LinkSquares.
To begin, go to Settings from the app selector.
Select Analyze App.
Go to the Login tab.
From here, select the SAML radio button within the Login Methods section.
Enter the information within the Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL Okta field into the Identity Provider SSO URL LinkSquares field.
Enter the information within the Identity Provider Issuer Okta field into the Identity Provider SSO Entity ID LinkSquares field.
Enter the information within the X.509 Certificate Okta field into the Identity Provider Certificate LinkSquares field.
Note: Ensure that you include “---BEGIN CERTIFICATE---” and “---END CERTIFICATE---” when pasting the certificate.
SAML SSO will be enabled after clicking SAVE LOGIN METHOD within the Login Methods section.
Users can verify that SAML has been successfully implemented by navigating to Directory > People on the left-hand side panel within Okta.
Select a user from the Person & username column.
Verify that the user is active and LinkSquares is one of their assigned applications.
Note: The email address within the Assignment & App Username column must match the email address for that user within LinkSquares.
Your SSO login URL can be found within the Login tab for reference anytime.
