Overview

LinkSquares offers users the ability to sign in using their Google credentials. This is useful for companies that use Google G Suite services.

By default, users can log in to LinkSquares through an email address and a LinkSquares password or through Google SSO.

*NOTE: The process below is for the Legacy SSO feature. 
If you have any concerns about which version your company is on, please reach out to support@linksquares.com . 
Support can provide the details and if needed, provide an alternative direction/process. 

If the Analyze settings and the LOGIN option is not available, contact your appropriate department for assistance.

Process

To complete the steps for configuration, you must be a LinkSquares Administrator or IT Administrator. 

  • To begin, go to Settings from the app selector.
  • Select Analyze App.
  • Go to the Login tab
  • Select the Only Google SSO option

  • Choose SAVE LOGIN METHOD once complete.

Note: 
If you are currently using a LinkSquares password and your organization switches over to Google-only login, your LinkSquares login credentials — specifically the password — will no longer be valid.

Affected users will need to link their Google login to their existing account.

Linking LinkSquares Account With Google

Linking your Google account is only necessary for users with LinkSquares login credentials who are part of a company that has switched to a Google-only login method.

To link your Google account:

  • Go to https://app.linksquares.com.
  • Log in to your account using your LinkSquares credentials.
  • A new page will open, requesting to link your account with Google.

  • Enter your Google login credentials. Your accounts will be linked.

Your organization will be given a unique login URL (e.g., https://domain.linksquares.com) that allows you to log in solely via the Google login. Log in to your account through your Google credentials via this URL.

Note: 
Administrators and Managers can identify their unique login URL by navigating: 

  • Settings > Analyze App > Login tab.
