Overview
LinkSquares offers users the ability to sign in using their Google credentials. This is useful for companies that use Google G Suite services.
By default, users can log in to LinkSquares through an email address and a LinkSquares password or through Google SSO.
If you have any additional questions about changing your login settings, contact your Customer Success Manager or support@linksquares.com.
Process
Note: To complete the steps for configuration, you must be a LinkSquares Administrator or IT Administrator.
1. To begin, go to Settings from the app selector.
2. Select Analyze App.
3. Go to the Login tab.
4. Select the Only Google SSO option.
5. Click SAVE LOGIN METHOD once complete.
Note: If you are currently using a LinkSquares password and your organization switches over to Google-only login, your LinkSquares login credentials — specifically the password — will no longer be valid.
Affected users will need to link their Google login to their existing account.
Linking LinkSquares Account With Google
Linking your Google account is only necessary for users with LinkSquares login credentials who are part of a company that has switched to a Google-only login method.
To link your Google account:
- Go to https://app.linksquares.com.
- Log in to your account using your LinkSquares credentials.
- From here, you will be taken to a new page that will request that you link your account with Google. Click LINK ACCOUNT WITH GOOGLE.
- Enter your Google login credentials. Your accounts will be linked.
Your organization will be given a unique login URL (e.g., https://domain.linksquares.com) that allows you to log in solely via the Google login. Log in to your account through your Google credentials via this URL.
Note: Administrators and Managers can identify their unique login URL by navigating to Settings > Analyze App > Login tab.
