Process
Analyze enables you to report across every single agreement in several ways.
This article covers reporting on the following data points:
- Name
- Content
- Type
- Tags
Reporting Overview
All Analyze users can run, save, and export reports.
Reporting can be initiated by leveraging the drop-downs at the top of the main Agreements page. There are four data points within these drop-downs: Agreement Name, Content, Agreement Type, and Tags.
Note: The Content data point can be found within the Agreement Name drop-down.
The page will automatically populate with the results based on your search criteria.
Reporting can also be initiated by adding advanced filters to the page. Select the + Advanced Filters button to add a new filter and begin tailoring your agreement view.
Select a data point from the drop-down to refine the parameters for the report. There is no limit to the number of filters you can use to search in Analyze.
- Clicking the X icon will remove the individual filter.
- Clicking the clone icon will duplicate the individual filter.
- Clicking the + icon will add an additional filter.
- Clicking the CLEAR button will remove all filters.
Once complete, reports can be exported to Excel, or saved for future business needs.
Exporting Reports
Once you are satisfied with your search results, export the agreements as an XLSX file by clicking the export icon next to the Columns button. The export will include all columns present on the main Agreements page.
Add additional columns as data points to gather more information from your reports by selecting the user-specific Columns button. Select any Global Term that is present in the account to appear on the page.
After clicking the export icon, select DOWNLOAD EXPORT to download the XLSX file locally without leaving the platform. Select EMAIL EXPORT to download the XLSX file via email.
Export all visible agreements within your Analyze instance by clicking the export icon without filtering or selecting individual agreements. You can only choose to download the export locally.
Exported files will include links to the agreements. If recipients have the necessary access and permissions within Analyze, these links will bring them to the individual agreement view.
Note: Large exports take several minutes to generate.
Saving Reports
After building an elaborate and valuable report, you may want to run it again weekly, quarterly, or annually. You have the ability to save your report to run at a later time.
Note:
- Due to the fact that your Analyze repository is dynamic, saving the report only saves the parameters of the report, not the results themselves.
- Note: Saved Reports created before August 26, 2024, do not include any column configuration. Reports saved after August 26, 2024, include the column configuration as well as filters applied.
To save the parameters of a report, click SAVE next to the + Advanced Filters button.
You will be prompted to name the report.
Optionally mark the Company Report checkbox to make this saved report available to your entire organization. If this checkbox is left unmarked, the report will only be available to you.
Click SAVE once complete.
Access saved reports within the Saved Reports tab of the navigation bar. From here, leverage the Views drop-down to filter reports by personal reports, company reports, or all reports.
If you are the creator of a report, click the ellipsis icon next to the report to edit, delete, or run it. If you are not the creator of a report, you can only choose to run the report.
By editing the report, users can modify the name and determine whether it should be a personal or company report by marking or unmarking the Company Report checkbox.
Note: Any user can create a company report. However, the reports available to them via the Saved Reports tab will be filtered by their permissions.

Basic Searching and Filtering
Search and filter through your executed agreements on the main Agreements page.
Agreement Name
Use the search bar next to the Agreement Name drop-down to generate results based on any variation of the agreement name.
Alternatively, click the + Advanced Filters button and select the Agreement Name data point from the drop-down to search and select an individual agreement. This helps see how the terms of individual agreements are arranged within the agreements table.
Users can filter agreements by leveraging the search bar and data points within the filtering functionality in conjunction with one another.
Note: There is no maximum character limit for agreement name searches.
Agreement Content
The agreement content data point allows you to search through agreements for specific language: keywords, phrases, or entire clauses. This is possible via the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) text that is generated from your agreements.
Select Content (Inexact) from the Agreement Name drop-down to filter your agreements by inexact content. Inexact content searches mean that whole words can be searched in any order.
Note: There is no maximum character limit for inexact agreement content searches.
Alternatively, click the + Advanced Filters button and select the Agreement Content data point from the drop-down to further refine your results. From here, initiate inexact, exact, or partial content searches.
Note:
- There is no maximum character limit for inexact and exact agreement content searches.
- The maximum character limit for partial agreement content searches is 30 characters.
The search will automatically default to inexact content searches, meaning the search will be performed using fuzzy logic. This will pull agreements that have similar language to the search term.
For example, searching for "renew" would pull terms like "renews," "renewal," and "renewed."
When the Exact option is selected from the drop-down, this will search for the term exactly how it is typed. It is case-sensitive and has the potential to exclude relevant documents right off the bat.
For example, searching for "renew" would only pull "renew" within your agreements.
The best practice is to start with inexact searches, review the results, and then, if necessary, toggle to exact searches.
Partial Searches
Inexact searches and exact searches are dependent on searches consisting of entire words. Consequently, you may miss results with this incomplete information.
Leverage the Partial option from the drop-down to initiate partial content searches. Partial content searches enable users to find what they need without having the complete search context (i.e., the entire keyword, phrase, or clause).
For example, searching for "ren" would pull terms like "renews," "renewal," and "renewed."
Note:
- Users can only apply one partial content search filter at a time.
- The maximum character limit for partial agreement content searches is 30 characters.
Proximity Search
Proximity searches allow users to search for a term in an agreement within a certain range of words of another term (anchor term) within the same agreement. This is a great option to search for language that you know exists but may not know exactly how it is written.
Start at the main Agreements page. Click the + Advanced Filters button, then select the Proximity data point from the drop-down to begin tailoring your agreement view.
Enter the term and determine the parameters alongside the anchor term.
The page will automatically populate with the results based on your search criteria.
Refine the search criteria by adding additional types and/or tags, Global Terms, or agreement content filters.
Once complete, reports can be exported to Excel or saved for future business needs.
Agreement Type
Pivot agreements by type by leveraging the Agreement Type drop-down.
The list of available types will include a null symbol if the type is not present within your agreements. If the type does not include a null symbol, it is present within your agreements and will populate results upon selection.
Alternatively, click the + Advanced Filters button and select the Agreement Type data point from the drop-down to further refine your results.
Determine whether the desired agreement type is or is not present by selecting Is or Is Not from the second drop-down.
View all agreement types except the ones that are selected by using the Is Not function.
Add additional filters or agreement type filters by clicking the + icon.
Filtering by multiple types will automatically use the OR function, pulling up any agreement that has type one, type two, or type three, etc.
Tags
Pivot agreements by tags by leveraging the Tags drop-down.
The list of available tags will include a null symbol if the tag or tag color is not present within your agreements. If the tag does not include a null symbol, it is present within your agreements and will populate results upon selection.
Alternatively, click the + Advanced Filters button and select the Tags data point from the drop-down to further refine your results.
Determine whether the desired agreement tag is or is not present by selecting Is or Is Not from the second drop-down.
View all agreement tags except the ones that are selected using the Is Not function.
Add additional filters or tag filters by clicking the + icon.
Filtering by multiple tags will automatically use the OR function. Toggle this function to AND to show agreements that have all of the selected tags applied to them.
To refine results based on tag color, select the Tag Color data point from the drop-down.
The list of available tag colors will include a null symbol if the tag color is not present within your agreements. If the tag color does not include a null symbol, it is present within your agreements and will populate results upon selection.
Advanced Agreement Content Reporting
When leveraging the Agreement Content data point from the drop-down within the advanced filtering flow, add additional search terms using AND/OR operators.
- To add an OR operator, click the OR button. This will add an additional search term field.
- To add an AND operator, add an additional filter and select Agreement Content.
These two operators can be combined, searching agreements that have commission or compensation, and another keyword by adding an additional Agreement Content data point to the first example.
Note:
- Users can only apply one partial content search filter at a time.
- There is no maximum character limit for inexact and exact agreement content searches.
- The maximum character limit for partial agreement content searches is 30 characters.
Reviewing Agreement Content Results
When reviewing the results of a text-based search:
- View the number of agreements populated within the results
- View and reference the agreement in the same window
- Quickly navigate around the results within the agreement
