Overview
The audit logging tool enables Administrators to accurately monitor the access of information within LinkSquares Analyze in real-time. The default time period is set at 365 days. If you would like to view longer, reach out to your Customer Sucess Manager. This will allow Administrators to view tags added, deleted, agreements deleted on what date and by who, to mention a few benefits to this feature.
Process
To access the audit logging tool, complete the following steps.
1. To begin, go to Settings from the app selector.
2. Select Analyze App.
3. Go to the Logs tab.
Filtering
There are three filter types to quickly locate certain events.
Events
Filtering by events is a great way to narrow down your audit log results and only show events that are tied to specific entities within your account.
Click the drop-down to filter your audit log by specific event types.
For example, when selecting the Agreement event, the audit log will only display events that affected agreements within your account. When selecting the User event, the audit log will only display events about users.
Dates
Click the drop-down to filter your audit log by a designated date range for reporting.
Users
Click the drop-down to filter your audit log by individual users within your account and only show events associated with them.
Click RESET FILTER to reset the filters.
Downloading Logs
LinkSquares enables users to download their log report as an XLSX file.
After clicking DOWNLOAD LOG in the upper right-hand corner of the page, the audit log report will be downloaded. The XLSX file will be emailed to your LinkSquares account email address.
Note: When downloading a log report, the downloaded log report will assume any designated filters.
Immutability
Data in the audit log never changes. As objects are created or destroyed within the application, the audit trail will always remain intact.
