Connecting LinkSquares to Slack
The first user from an organization to connect to the Slack integration must install the app to the organization’s Slack workspace. Other users will not be able to connect to the integration until it is installed in the workspace.
This process makes the Slack integration available to everyone within a given workspace. Once the Slack integration is available, each user can individually connect their LinkSquares account to their Slack.
Note: The LinkSquares Slack integration is not available on the Slack App Directory. This may affect the installation process. Contact your organization's Slack Workspace Administrator for assistance if necessary.
- Ensure you are logged into LinkSquares in your browser.
- Navigate to https://app.linksquares.com/integrations/slack/authorize
- Click ‘Add to Slack’.
- If applicable, there might be a choose workspace dropdown in the top right corner. Choose the appropriate workspace.
- Click ‘Allow’.
- You should receive a message in Slack from LinkSquares confirming your connection was successful.
Updating the LinkSquares Slack Connection
If you notice certain LinkSquares features are not available in your workspace, the first thing you should do is update your Slack LinkSquares connection.
- Ensure you are logged into LinkSquares in your browser.
- Navigate to https://app.linksquares.com/integrations/slack/reauthorize
- Click ‘Add to Slack’.
- Click ‘Allow’.
- You should receive a message in Slack from Linksquares confirming your connection was successful.
