Salesforce Analyze: Auto-Push Field Configuration

Salesforce Analyze Auto-Push Smart Terms listing

The following Smart Values are available for synchronization via Auto Push.

Custom Terms created in Analyze can also be pushed (see instructions below).

The below Terms are installed via the Analyze Salesforce Install Package and sync by default, unless noted.

The following Smart Values CANNOT be pushed to Salesforce: 

• Limitation of Liability Aggregate Limit Amount
• Limitation of Liability Aggregate Limit Currency
• Limitation of Liability: Consequential Damages Waived

When adding a new Smart Term that does not sync by default: 
Replace any double underscore (__) in the Analyze Term with a single underscore (_)
Salesforce custom field names do not permit double underscores, unless the field is installed by a Managed Package.

• On the main page for the user profile, click View next to the LinkSquares Agreement field within the Custom Field-Level Security section.

  Note: This restriction does not apply to default fields installed via the Analyze Salesforce Managed Package.

How to Sync an additional Smart Term, Custom / User-Generated Analyze Term to Salesforce

Syncing a new term requires three parts:

1. Create or identify the Term in Analyze

2. Create a matching field in Salesforce

3. Map the Analyze Term to the Salesforce field

Note: Not all Terms sync to Analyze Salesforce by default.

Any of the below term types can be synced

• Custom Smart Values

• User-Generated Values (global or agreement-type specific)

• Additional Terms created by your team

Note: 
Governing Summaries, Parent/Child Hierarchies, and Additional Files are NOT synced to Salesforce
Multiple-Value List terms cannot sync to Salesforce (not a supported feature in AutoPush)

Map the Analyze Term to the Salesforce field created in LinkSquares__Agreement__c Object

In Analyze:

1. Go to Settings → Analyze → Terms

2. Find your custom term

3. Click Edit

4. In the SFDC Field Name field → paste the Salesforce field’s API Name
   Example: Custom_Term__c

5. Save the term

Note: 
If selecting an additional Global Term, remember to edit the SFDC Field Name and remove an underscore after the prefix LinkSquares. 
A field cannot be created in Salesforce with a single underscore, unless that field is created via the Analyze Salesforce Install Package.

Create a Custom Field in Salesforce for the new Term

The Salesforce Administrator needs to create a field on the LinkSquares Agreement object:

In Salesforce Setup:

1. Go to Object Manager

2. Search for LinkSquares Agreement: (LinkSquares__Agreement__c)

3. Open Fields & Relationships → New

4. Create a field whose type matches the Analyze term’s type, or meets LinkSquares’ requirements:

AutoPush the New Term

Once the new fields are enabled, please contact Support if you are in post-implementation to initiate data synchronization.

• New or updated agreements will sync the custom term

• AutoPush typically updates Salesforce within 5–15 minutes after the sync has been initiated

Note: 

• Sync is one-way, Analyze -> Salesforce. This is not a bilateral sync feature. The sync will Not sync, Salesforce to Analyze with this feature. 

• Older agreements that were already pushed may not retro-sync unless modified
