Overview
Request forms require approval before agreements can be drafted within LinkSquares Finalize.
Once necessary approvals are given, Finalize Administrators and Request form assignees can create a new agreement.
The assignees for the Request forms are determined on the template level.

Utilizing Request forms will save unnesccary agreements from being created.
Process
To create an agreement from a Request form, start by selecting the Request form on the main Agreements page.
Click CREATE AGREEMENT within the individual agreement view.
Note:
- Outstanding tasks must be completed to create the agreement.
- Details related to the original request can be found within the Info tab.
Next, either upload a new file (DOCX or PDF files only) or select an existing template.
Uploading New File
1. Upload the file by clicking Upload file.
Rename the file via the VERSION NAME field if needed.
Click SAVE once complete.
2. Next, set optional Approval and To-do tasks.
To change the tasks workflow from the default, unordered workflow to an ordered workflow, enable the toggle.
An unordered workflow means that the tasks can be approved in any order.
An ordered workflow means that the tasks must be approved in a certain order.
Once the agreement has been created, all tasks must be completed in order for the agreement to be moved to a Ready for Signature status. This allows you to execute your agreement faster knowing it has the necessary sign-off it needs to move forward.
Note: The agreement will begin in the Ready for Signature status if tasks are not configured. This status cannot be changed to previous statuses.
Click SAVE AND CONTINUE once complete.
3. By enabling the toggle, users can email the agreement from Finalize. This is disabled by default.
Click SAVE AND CONTINUE once complete.
4. Review the information at the end for any typos or discrepancies within your answers.
Click SAVE AND FINISH once complete. You will be taken to the individual agreement view.
Note: Clicking EXIT will cancel the agreement creation flow. Your progress will not be saved.
Selecting Existing Template
1. Select a Draft template by hovering over a template and clicking SELECT.
2. Begin drafting the agreement itself by filling out tokens.
Tokens are placeholders within your agreements in which responses will be incorporated directly into the drafted agreement.
Press the Enter key or use the arrows to navigate between tokens.
Click SAVE AND CONTINUE once complete.
Note: Tokens may not be present depending on how your Finalize Administrator team configured the template. In that case, this step would be skipped.
3. Review the information at the end for any typos or discrepancies within your answers.
Click SAVE AND FINISH once complete. You will be taken to the individual agreement view.
Note: Clicking EXIT will cancel the agreement creation flow. Your progress will not be saved.
